Data Analyst (Remote)

We're looking for an experienced Data Analyst who'll gather data, understand problems, and make insightful reports based on stakeholders’ inputs and business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Play a leading role in making data-informed business solutions
  • Collaborate across teams to define key metrics, develop dashboards, track metric progress, investigate changes in metrics, and propose next steps
  • Develop churn prediction models, recommend customer products, and conduct user behavior analytics
  • Exemplify best practices for data management
  • Use data analysis to proactively address company and product problems and solutions with sometimes broad scopes and minimal specifications - the ability to drill down to the essential analytics insights is important
  • Fulfill requests for data and analysis coming from other teams while guiding them on which data to use and how to interpret it, automating solutions to be self-service where possible.
  • Provide clear and concise views into company and product data that enable everyone at Doodle to understand the data
  • Provide data-supported recommendations for company and product strategy
  • Help define success metrics and oversee product and marketing experiments

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a Data Analyst role, ideally in SaaS
  • Excellent SQL skills and experience in data visualisation (Tableau, Mode Analytics). Python visualization packages experience is a plus
  • Experience working with DBT is a must
  • Knowledge of database modeling, version control, testing, and continuous integration
  • Experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, or other event tracking platforms
  • Incredible communication skills and a customer-centric mentality
  • Self-starter, high energy, adaptable, inquisitive and excited to work in a startup environment
  • Ability to work independently, be proactive and think holistically
  • Fluency in English
  • Ability to work in CET timezone (9:00-17:00 UTC+1)
  • Fluent in Ex-Yu languages (Serbian, Bosnian, Croatian, Montenegrin)

Nice to have

  • Statistical programming experience (R, Python)
  • Working knowledge of GCP data engineering tools (PubSub, DataFlow, Cloud Functions)
  • Experience with working with large volumes of data and complex data models, and capability to investigate and master new data sets quickly
