Web Designer (Remote)

We're looking for a web designer to help us maintain and expand our websites.

About us

COING is a unicorn, product-based software company, with offices in California and Europe.

We are focused on creating products that are used by millions around the world. Some of our products include Clockify (time tracking app), Pumble (team chat app), and Plaky (project management app).

Clockify is the world's #1 time tracker, used by millions of people, from individuals to big companies like Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, American Express, Amazon, etc.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for designing and expanding websites for our products, from creating layouts to producing graphical assets (like product images, icons, and other web elements). 

You will work with our marketing team, other designers, and developers to make sure our pages both look beautiful and are easy to use.

  • Design pages for our websites 
  • Create graphical assets (images, icons, mockups, banners, gifs, etc.)
  • Quality assurance for websites (branding, testing, usability, responsiveness, defects, accessibility, etc.)
  • Follow and improve design guidelines
  • Collaborate with marketing team and other designers

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in website graphic design
  • Experience using Figma
  • Experience using image editing software (Photoshop)
  • Eye for details (spacing, size, color, alignment, type)
  • Knowledge of usability and UX principles
  • Fluent in English language
  • Fluent in Ex-Yu languages (Serbian, Bosnian, Croatian, Montenegrin)

Nice to have

  • Copywriting skills
  • Experience with A/B testing and Google Analytics
  • Experience with WordPress and SEO
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS/Git
